ScoutStop’s annual Midwest Summer Showcase is the best event in Minnesota for high school baseball players looking for college and pro exposure. This past season, our showcases brought over 50 college scouts including several from Major League Baseball. This year, with over 100 colleges and every MLB team invited, we anticipate the largest turnout of coaches and scouts we’ve had. [See below for complete list of attending Colleges and MLB teams]. In addition, 50 seniors who participated in our events were signed to play in college earning over $2,000,000 in both academic and athletic scholarships. This is the top showcase event in Minnesota.
Players will run through a MLB tryout including: 60 yard dash, infield/outfield work, catchers pop times, batting practice and live bullpens. This event is for all 2014/2015 graduates in the Midwest.
To sign up, please go to www.minnesotabaseballacademy.com or www.scout-stop.com under “Showcases”, fill out the form and submit it. This workout is limited to 90 players and spots fill quickly. Please don’t wait as this workout typically fills within a week.
Once you have signed up, players will be contacted via email/phone for confirmation. It is recommended that you wear full uniform, hat and turf shoes and show up a half hour early to check in. All players will receive a National Recruiting Profile from ScoutStop after the showcase that includes results, showcase video and your own ScoutStop recruiting page on www.scout-stop.com.

Clean. Simple. Effective. Matt Fiedler (2013 Minnesota Gopher Commit) ScoutStop Profile
Minnesota Baseball Academy and Scout Stop have come together to provide National Recruiting Profiles – your own webpage that includes your scouting and game video, professional scouting reports, contact info, academic information, references and more in an effort to create a one-stop development and recruiting tool for players, coaches and recruiters. Colleges and professional scouts will have instant access to your profile and video 24-7.
For student athletes, a large amount of time is dedicated to learning about college’s academic and athletic programs. Making phone calls, filling out questionnaires and applications, writing emails and sending faxes are all a part of the recruiting process.
Streamlining the process is key to making sure your time, money and talent are being used and marketed wisely. By creating your own National Recruiting Profile, you’ll give scouts a simple and sharp look at all the detailed information they are looking for including everything from your GPA and ACT to video analysis of your athletic ability. The result is you work more effectively, your exposure grows extensively and your administration costs go down. If you are looking for your son or daughter to have an edge on their competition, please take a look at what Scout Stop has to offer. To order a ScoutStop National Recruiting Profile, simply contact us after the showcase to set up your personal profile. 612.790.4700 / abarta@minnesotabaseballacademy.com
